俄罗斯著名神秘怪异团体的新专，该团近年发片速度令人钦佩

在2000年第一次感受了Dvar黑暗中蛊惑的魅力,那是一张当年的Dome.从这开始就一直想为Dvar写点儿什么,却发现Dvar根本就形同鬼魅,丝毫抓不到边际,也就一度放弃了.Dvar没有官方网站,所有的国外网站也几乎没有Dvar的踪迹.连Dvar的专辑封面歌纸上都没有任何关于他们的介绍,也没有歌词.当时我已经接触了为数不少,各种形式的Gothic及Darkwave音乐,但我从没听到过像Dvar这样与众不同的音乐.当时我询问了很多国外的朋友,很不幸,没有任何一个人知道他们,唯一的信息就是Dvar来自于俄罗斯.如果你没听说过这些神秘的音乐家那毫不奇怪,Dvar的音乐像乐队本身一样未知和含糊难懂.

Dvar至今发行了3张专辑与2张Dome,专辑分别是2002年的《Piirrah》,2003年的《Roah》以及2004年的《Rakhilim》,Dome分别为1998年的《Raii》和2000年的《Taai Liira》(可惜的是,Dvar 2002年的专辑我费尽心血也没有得到).Dvar是如此低调与神秘,从流传出来仅有的一张模糊不清的照片上也许可以推断Dvar是一个2人乐队,Dvar也没有任何形式的宣传,以至于让人怀疑它是不是真的存在.在早几年的时候,国外知晓Dvar的听者如同凤毛麟角,国内则几乎没有.在2004年,借助于网络的发达,国内的一些听者有幸接触到了Dvar 2004年的专辑《Rakhilim》,但真正能感受Dvar的人又有多少,从《Rakhilim》去了解Dvar是单一的,Dvar最为黑暗和乖张的专辑是《Roah》.

Dvar没有身份,没有起源,一个国外的朋友曾说:Dvar它究竟是一个无人知晓的神话还是一个飘忽在黑夜中的幽灵?而我却很清楚Dvar在心中的定义,你不用怀疑,这是从地狱传来的声音,唱者怪异压抑的嗓音如同被人扼住咽喉濒死所发出的震动,连同Dvar邪恶又带童真的旋律,让你置身于地狱鬼怪们的篝火仪式,歇斯底里的抒情,天真却又不祥.对于Dvar,你只能努力的去想象它,因为不论是它的旋律以及唱者的声音都是这样异想天开,就像是一群身患精神病的孩子,他们尽情玩耍却又到处破坏.乐曲用到了各种各样的乐器,这些连同合成器给Dvar注入了生命,他们用癔病的欢乐和受虐者的折磨灌输每支歌.当你死亡的时候,Dvar如同丧礼乐队一样经过你的村庄,为你演奏,他们的音乐在说:快乐,这是快乐的,我们为你的死亡庆祝与哀伤.你会发现在你周围掩面而泣的人们有着另一张邪恶欢愉的面庞.讽刺和邪恶也被Dvar在歌曲中赞颂,Dvar是正常人们所不应去想念的疯狂.如果你想真正感受Dvar的黑暗,那请你将自己也一同污染.

英国独立民谣团今年新专

Lone Wolf began life in 2009 in various dusty rooms and tape studios around Sweden, songs and ideas slowly coming together through the eyes of singer and guitarist Paul Marshall and the ears of Kristofer Jonson from Jeniferever. After a month of various field recordings, sneaking into concert halls late at night to use the piano, setting up their gear in small village churches, and other places they could find, the basic album tracks were done. Paul brought all the recordings back home to England in September and together with James from Duels, started on the final stages of mixing the album.
Now complete, The Devil and I will be out on Bella Union in late April 2010 and dates will appear on this site as and when they become announced.Band members include Lins Wilson from Grammatics, along with James and Jon from Duels and Napoleon the 3rd.

Cats On Fire 选择这个时候发行精选集，让我有点找不到北。虽说09年他们发行的专辑《Our Temperance Movement》评价不错，即使在往前追溯2年他们的首张专辑《The Province Complains》是一张4星高分专辑。他们发行精选集依然对我来说是一个意外。不过，最后看了列表，觉得其实也还算满意。精选集《Dealing In Antiques 》收录了20首歌曲，其中包括了2001年Cats On Fire 刚组建时到今年的发行和未发行的作品。俩张专辑和一张EP选出来了经典独立流行和独立摇滚的佳品。很多歌都是我比较偏爱的歌，虽说这张精选集有些意外，对于一支只有俩张专辑的独立乐队来说，不过，对于没有接触到他们的歌迷来说是一张质量过硬的精选集。来赏吧~ [转自水手音乐]

[Darkwave] Anne Clark – Sitting Room (1982)

英国老牌暗潮摇滚女歌手82年老专辑

Recognized in America for the 1987 modern rock radio curio “Hope Road,” Anne Clark’s contributions to the alternative genre are often ignored; or perhaps she’s too obscure to receive the proper credit. Clark made her debut in 1982 with the album The Sitting Room. A poetic songwriter and gifted pianist, Clark gained a devout legion of fans during the ’80s, although commercial success was never within reach. Because of her experiments with both dance music and more elaborate orchestral pieces, Clark won the approval of club denizens and indie purists. However, “Hope Road” was the closest she came to a pop hit. The track is often resurrected by modern rock radio DJs who want to break the monotony of Top 40 new wave on flashback programs, but it doesn’t truly reflect Clark’s personal, idiosyncratic body of work. In 1994, Beehive released The Best of Anne Clark, a retrospective that, oddly enough, didn’t include “Hope Road.”

非常优秀的一个新进的洛杉矶器乐五重奏后摇团体，由neurot recordings旗下后摇乐队Isis和Neurosis两支乐队结合而成。 专辑一上来就是密集的吉他riff营造出壮丽辽阔的史诗般的气势让我非常喜欢，曲子极具爆发力，细腻处的氛围营造也很到位，属于很正的后摇。越听越喜欢。

The Wake is an American gothic rock band from Columbus, Ohio. Formed in 1986 by Troy Payne (lead vocals) and Richard Witherspoon (lead guitars), their initial line-up was completed by the addition of James Tramel (bass), Daniel C (drums) and Robert Brothers (keyboards).

Their first release was a self-titled cassette EP, released via the local Blaylox Records label in 1990. The Wake had a significant impact on the gothic/alternative club circuit in the United States, and the group were soon opening for bands like And Also The Trees, Skinny Puppy, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Shadow Project and Nine Inch Nails.

2010 release from the Icelandic outfit. Catchy melodies and euphoric compositions constitute Stafraenn Hakon’s sixth album, Sanitas. The songs are intense and powerful and an adventurous continuation of Stafraenn Hakon’s last release, Gummi. Stafraenn Hakon has, through the years, been described as a mix of Post-Rock, lo-fi, Ambient guitar and Electronica. On Sanitas, Stafraenn Hakon travels to the other side of the sound spectrum, gradually moving further from Electronica, subtle compositions and soothing melodies towards more straight-forward, Rock-orientated compositions.
